Altinay is a name synonymous with premium hand carved block meerschaum pipes.
This is a hand made pipe by Altinay of Turkey. A beautiful one-off creation which is worthy of a spot in any pipe smokers collection.
This pipe has a smooth bowl and 'Plateaux' style rustic top and is fitted with a black acrylic fishtail mouthpiece. The pipe shank has a V-shaped hand rusticated pattern.
Meerschaum pipes are deemed by most as the
finest of all smoking vessels, they don't need to be 'broken in' like
most other pipes, but they still get better with age.
Measures 143mm long with an internal bowl diameter of 22mm and an internal depth of 40mm.
