An Export Special is a factory reject, a pipe that has made the very
final stages of production and a slight blemish or fault has been noticed by
quality control. These vary from pipe to pipe. The smoking abilities and other attributes are
not affected.
This particular pipe has a flaw in the base of the shank which continues under the nickel army mount.
