Rattray's Pipes
1911 the skilled tobacco blender Charles Rattray's made his dream come true and took over a tobacco shop in the old scottish capital Perth. Only after a short while the store became the top adress for tobacco enthusiasts. In his small tobacco factory he blended exquisite specialities for the Gentlemen until he died in 1964. His son Charles Rattray's Junior took over the business, in 1980 he retired and 4 years later his daughters inherited the name rights and the original recipes. Today these tobaccos are produced by Kohlhase & Kopp, the range is expanded by a very classical pipe series, like Mr. Rattray's private label pipes that he used to offer his customers in the old days.
